Reduced bone content and lower-phosphorus meats (beef and pork rather than turkey, chicken or fish) help manage toxin build-up when kidneys aren’t functioning optimally – also a good fit for breeds prone to high purine levels, like Dalmatians. Carrots and dark berries add kidney-supporting vitamin A and anti-inflammatory polyphenols.
 
We recommend feeding for at least 4 weeks before retesting kidney function.
